Kyler Benbow, PA-C

Kyler Benbow, PA-C graduated from Butler University in 2012 with a bachelor’s in health sciences. She then received her master of physician assistant studies in 2013. Shortly after graduation, she completed her board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in June 2013. While at Butler University, she was inducted into the Mortar Board National Honor Society and selected as a Butler University Top 100 Student. Shortly following graduation, she worked in the Community North and East Emergency departments. She joined OrthoIndy as Dr. Jonathan Shook’s PA in 2015. They work closely together to provide comprehensive orthopedic care for common sports injuries. She is passionate about patient education and communication to help relieve patient’s pain and cope with their sports injuries.  

In addition to her responsibilities at OrthoIndy, she is an Officer in the Indiana Air National Guard. She was commissioned in April 2015 and then graduated with honors from Officers Training School in Montgomery in March 2016. She is proud to serve as a physician assistant in the Indiana 19th CERFP in preparation for domestic terrorism and natural disasters. She also has current certifications in advanced trauma life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, National Guard Association of Indiana and National Guard Association of the United States.
