OrthoIndy Trauma is partnered with St.Vincent Health, providing care exclusively at the trauma center located at St.Vincent Indianapolis. Along with providing care to central Indiana and the surrounding areas OrthoIndy Trauma has trained fellows in orthopedic traumatology for over 30 years.

Let's fix what hurts
The OrthoIndy Trauma Team is exclusively located at the only Level 1 trauma center on the north side of Indianapolis, St. Vincent Trauma Center.
St.Vincent Trauma Center
In 2012, OrthoIndy transitioned our entire trauma program to St.Vincent Trauma Center. In the beginning of 2016, the St.Vincent Trauma Center became a Level 1 facility.
Our faculty had a personal hand in building the program, and by drawing on everyone’s far reaching experience, created a trauma program described as “the best start up trauma program,” according to the American College of Surgeons. This transition has led us to train one trauma fellow per year rather than two to four to guarantee a richer trauma experience.
Our fellows, on average, participate in 800-1000 case numbers per year, with the maximum to date being 1300 cases.
