Meet Dr. Michael Coscia

Dr. Coscia graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1977 and was named a Notre Dame Scholar. He graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1981. Dr. Coscia completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee/ Campbell Foundation in 1986. He completed fellowships at the Minnesota Spine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Twin Cities Scoliosis Center at the University of Minnesota, and an A-O spine fellowship in St. Gallen and Bern, Switzerland.

Dr. Coscia has worked and studied extensively in France, Switzerland, Italy, Hong Kong and Singapore. He has served as a physician at numerous Olympic trials, NCAA competitions and championships. He serves as the spine consultant for the Indiana Pacers.

Dr. Coscia is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the North American Spine Society and The Scoliosis Research Society.
