Meet OrthoIndy Physician
Dr. Williams received a bachelor’s degree in Asian studies from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1993. She attended Purdue University in Indianapolis and received her master’s in biology in 1995. She then attended Indiana University in Indianapolis and received her master’s in physiology and biophysics in 1996. In 2000, she received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Williams completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. in 2005 and an orthopedic hand fellowship at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida in 2006.
Prior to joining OrthoIndy, Dr. Williams practiced as an orthopedic hand surgeon at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, The Ouellette Group Physicians for the Hand in Coral Gables, Florida and held an independent practice in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Williams is a fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
