Biography
Meet OrthoIndy Surgeon, Dr. Stephen Kollias
Dr. Kollias graduated cum laude from Butler University in Indianapolis in 1985 where he made the first-team NCAA/GTE Academic All America Football Team as a defensive end. He won the Hilton U. Brown Award for Outstanding Student Athlete. Dr. Kollias attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and graduated in 1989. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis in 1994 and a fellowship in shoulder, sports medicine and arthroscopy at Southern California Orthopaedic Institute in Van Nuys, California in 1995.
