Meet the team
Dr. Thieken’s team is dedicated to providing patients with a friendly and professional atmosphere. If you have any questions regarding your sports injury or condition, treatment programs, scheduling an appointment, surgery, etc., his team will be happy to assist you.
Sarah Kindred, MSN, RN, FNP
Sarah is a certified nurse practitioner. She graduated from Purdue University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She worked as a surgical nurse for six years and then earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Indianapolis in 2017. She has been working with Dr. Thieken at OrthoIndy since 2017. She sees patients in the office and assists Dr. Thieken in the operating room. She helps answer patients' questions and is actively involved with patient care and follow-up.

Athletic Trainer Patient Service Coordinator
Ashlynn is Dr. Thieken’s surgery scheduler. She also receives and returns patient phone calls.
