Fellowship Alumni
Since 1993, Orthoindy has been training orthopedic traumatologists. The team, with combined 150 years of experience, includes seven fellowship trained traumatologists (staff trained at Shock Trauma, Harbourview, Johns Hopkins and OrthoIndy Trauma). In the 30 years since our fellowship begin, OrthoIndy has trained more than 50 board certified surgeons who have gone on to practice in both academic and community settings across the country.
Former fellows practice throughout the nation and Canada. Currently half return to practice in the Midwest. Most work in private practice, about 76 percent, while the rest are in academic centers.
