His minimally invasive strategies made the most of a smaller amount of space, thereby reducing damage to surrounding tissues with less scar tissue. On top of this, Dr. O’Neill is personable, respectful towards patients, and not at all condescending as others I have met in different organizations. "Outstanding!! Not many other words fit. Bedside manner and his sincere compassion for his patient is far and above most all other physicians. He is honest, does not rush when speaking with the patient or family. Explains any questions and if he does not know – he says so. We live outside of Nashville, TN and have followed him to Indy. Just hope he does not go to Alaska. We would still follow him there. His skill and patience as a surgeon surely shows in the post op results and follow up care. "I am fully satisfied with my treatment. When I first saw Dr. O’Neill I had back and leg pain resulting in drop foot. I had surgery on my back which totally freed me of my pain. I went to PT for the drop foot and it soon went away. I found Dr. O’Neill to be a caring and compassionate doctor. He was very concerned about my drop foot, and gave extra attention to it (a boot so I would not fall and ordered PT).I just want to say I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of my surgery.
