Meet Dr. Andrew Smithka

Dr. Andrew Smithka earned his undergraduate degree from Wabash College in 2003. In 2007, he completed medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He finished a transitional year residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois in 2008 and a residency in anes­thesiology at Northwestern University in 2011.

Dr. Smithka is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Before joining OrthoIndy, Dr. Smithka worked as an anesthesiologist for Baptist Health Lousiville for six years.

Dr. Smithka is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Indiana Society of Anesthesiologists.
