Meet Dr. Carlos Berrios

Dr. Berrios completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 1991 and was granted a fellowship in orthopediatrics at Shriner’s Hospital in St. Louis from 1991 to 1992.

Dr. Berrios earned his medical degree in 1984 from Universidad Mayor de San Andres Facultad de Medicina School of Medicine (UMSA) in La Paz, Bolivia, where he was president of the student body and ranked among the top five percent in his graduating class.

Dr. Berrios is actively affiliated with OrthoIndy Hospital and St.Vincent Hospital, as well as consulting privileges at select specialty hospitals.

The provider recommended seeing another provider that could do surgery, but did not insure the appointment to see the other provider. I would rather the other provider be called into my consultation so that I could've been walked through the process of the recommendation of having complete hip replacement with a surgeon. I left out of the building wondering if I should call a provider that was recommended or receive a second opinion

Everything went well and the people were wonderful. Only feedback might be to send a link & provide the option of filling the form out prior to the visit - that was a long form :)
