Meet Dr. Jenna Fritsch

Dr. Jenna Fritsch is an anesthesiologist who specializes in keeping patients safe and comfortable before, during and after surgery. She is committed to helping patients return to the people and activities they love.

Board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Fritsch is a member of both the Indiana Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. She has a strong research background, having served as a research assistant with the Medical Student Training in Aging Research Program at the Indiana University Center for Aging and with the IU Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. Her work has been published in leading medical journals and presented at respected industry conferences.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, Dr. Fritsch earned her medical degree at IU School of Medicine. She completed a transitional year medicine residency at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, where she was named chief resident, and played a key role on the rapid response team at Ascension St. Vincent Women’s Hospital. She went on to complete her anesthesiology residency at IU School of Medicine. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as COVID Response Director at Ascension St. Vincent, helping lead patient care through a challenging time in modern healthcare.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Fritsch enjoys spending time with her family, including her young children and two labradoodles.
