Meet Dr. Matthew Walker

Dr. Matthew Walker attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in science pre-professional studies in 2008. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 2012.

Dr. Walker completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2017. During his residency, he was the administrative chief resident from 2016 to 2017. He then completed a hand fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Plastic Surgery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2018.

Dr. Walker is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Always great

As a new patient I completed all the forms online before my arrival. When I checked in the receptionist thanked me which I thought was very nice. From that first impression and my encounter with everyone was not disappointed with the staff or my care. Would highly recommend the south location and Dr Walker.
