Meet Dr. Gupta

Dr. Sachin Gupta is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in treating complex spine conditions. He is dedicated to helping patients of all ages regain mobility, reduce pain and return to the activities they love.

Dr. Gupta earned both his bachelor’s degree and medical degree from George Washington University. He went on to complete his surgical internship, orthopedic surgery residency and orthopedic research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by advanced fellowship training in spine surgery at the renowned Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gupta is an award-winning researcher, having been recognized by the Cervical Spine Research Society with the Clinical Research Award. His research has focused on preventing surgical complications and optimizing long-term recovery, particularly in patients with spinal deformities or degenerative conditions. His studies have also explored how surgical techniques, spinal implants and spine alignment influence a patient’s function and quality of life. Dr. Gupta applies this research directly to patient care, helping him offer personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.

Dr. Gupta is an inductee of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and an active member of several professional organizations. These organizations include the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (in-training), Orthopaedic Research Society, American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Gupta enjoys staying active by playing basketball and tennis, weightlifting, cycling, and traveling.
