It started with overhearing the dr talking to staff in hall about the ordering physician for my MRI had same last name as myself. Then he walked in the room and appeared he already had made up his mind with what he was going to say. Dr Whitaker was more interested in why a family member ordered my MRI than why I was there. That was his first question. No other greeting. Not what problem are you having. Then progressed to condescension about my ability to buddy tape. I've been an ED RN for 17 of my 33 years and would never talk to my patients the way he did. I would return to OI but not this physician. His bedside manner needs improvement. It doesn't matter who orders my prior test. I chose to be treated at OI and deserve to be treated with respect. I'm sure he has given some sort of care to family members during his career.

Very short time with doctor. Did not ask if I had any questions and physical exam and diagnosis was incredibly short.

Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. They made me feel relaxed about my procedure when I was very nervous. A wonderful atmosphere!
