Observer Limitations

The OrthoIndy leadership team and physician Board of Directors met yesterday to discuss the ever-evolving situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. We are staying on top of updates and recommendations directed from the CDC and State Department of Health.

Our immediate concern is keeping our employees, patients and visitors to our facilities safe from the COVID-19 outbreak.  Therefore, we are following the recommendation of the State Board of Health to postpone all non-urgent surgeries. All patients affected by this change will receive phone, text and email communication from our staff.

Additionally, we are limiting the number of individuals coming into our facility.  At this time and for the immediate three weeks, we are restricting visitors, including all students and observers in our facilities, effective immediately.

We will release more details as they become available. In the meantime, if you are showing any symptoms of flu, respiratory illnesses or symptoms of COVID-19 please contact your provider via phone, and self-monitor/ isolate prior to appearing for treatment. Please notify us immediately if you are found to have contracted COVID-19.

The safety and health of our patients, visitors, observers and the members of TEAM OI is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding of this unprecedented situation.
